North Texas Dance Scholarship Fund supports competitive dancesport opportunities for ambitious, talented dancers. Through the gifts of generous donors, and the efforts of college-age dancers, we aim to advance Ballroom and Country dance, growing the sport younger and more durable with each generation. See our bylaws for more information about eligibility and applying for a scholarship.
Here’s how we help:
INSTRUCTIONAL EXPENSES
including fees for private instruction, studio fees, and group classes
COSTUMING EXPENSES
including a portion of the cost of expenses where costumes are either required or unique to a dance genre
COMPETITION EXPENSES
including registration and dance fees at competitive events and hotel costs in shared accommodations
